BJJ Media Worldwide (“we”, “us”) produces photo and video coverage of Brazilian jiu-jitsu tournaments for athletes, parents, clubs, and organizers. This page explains what we collect when you use this website and request a package.
Who we are
The studio operating this site is BJJ Media Worldwide. Contact: hello@bjjmedia.worldwide. We offer services in the United States and the European Union and treat EU residents under the GDPR.
What we collect
When you request athlete coverage we ask for:
- Your name and phone number
- Athlete age, weight class, belt, and division
- Optional team name
- The package you selected and the tournament
- Your consent to process data and to receive SMS about the booking
Club and organizer inquiries collect a name, contact detail, and the type of request.
Children and minors
Many bookings are made by a parent or guardian on behalf of a child athlete. We collect only what we need to identify the athlete on the mat and deliver the gallery. If you are a parent, you confirm you have authority to share that information. We do not use children’s data for unrelated marketing.
Why we use it (GDPR)
We process booking data to take steps at your request before a contract, to perform that coverage, and — where you tick the box — to send SMS updates. We may also process data to keep records we are legally required to keep. Photography of a public sporting event is carried out to provide the service you asked for.
Sharing
We share data with the tools that send email and SMS, store leads, and measure whether a form was submitted (analytics and ads tags, when configured). We do not sell personal data. We do not take payment on this website.
Retention
Lead records are kept for as long as needed to deliver coverage and handle follow-up, then deleted or anonymized unless a longer legal period applies.
Your rights
You may ask for access, correction, deletion, restriction, or portability of your data, and you may withdraw SMS consent at any time. EU residents may also lodge a complaint with their local supervisory authority. Email hello@bjjmedia.worldwide to exercise these rights.
